We had long wondered about RV caravan touring, as our personal preferences have long been to explore new places with little more than a map, a full tank of fuel, and lots of curiousity. Yet we know that many RVers have discovered a new way to travel to unknown destinations -- the RV caravan. When we learned that Loisjean and Bob Raymond would be taking such a trip to Mexico, actually "doing the Baja", we asked them to record some impressions for us to publish here. We talked to them shortly before they departed, and we sensed that they were approaching the "caravan experience" with many reservations.
This is a story that "tells it like it is". We think you'll agree there's no effort here either to sugar coat the experience, or to "sell" the concept of RV caravaning. We think this series is a "must read" for any RVers who are contemplating such a journey. And we think you will find the many stories told here fascinating.
